General Muhammadu Buhari has urged eligible voters to ensure they get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ready before next month presidential election.
He also said this would enable them (electorate) participate in the election by voting massively for him and other candidates of the APC.
General Buhari made the disclosure on Saturday at a rally held at the Democracy Park in Akure, the Ondo state.
He said supporting him, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections could only be manifest if the electorates gets their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs)
“Go and get your Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ready and ensure you vote for us.”
The APC presidential candidate, who was overwhelmed by the turnout of supporters and mammoth crowd in the state, disclosed that he is ready to fight “corruption” and flush out “poverty” in the country.
He decried the high rate of unemployment in the country under the watchful eyes of President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and declared his administration “a failure” for disappointing the people of the country.
The former military leader noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since inception has given free reign to impunity and bribery, adding that if elected the lost glory of the country would be restored even among te commity of nations.
