23 year old DSmith is coming with a style that differs from what you would normally hear from someone in the Chicagoland area.
In his words:
I’m from Joliet, IL, that’s 30mins away from Chicago. My city is influenced by any and everything that goes in Chicago. This has been the way things have been since i was younger. My style is abstract from what you would normally hear coming out of the Midwest region and ESPECIALLY different for someone coming out of a city so close to Chicago with all the “Drill” music taking over the region lately.
After two and a half years of composing, the mixtape “XIII: Stories Never Told” is finally released.
“XIII: Stories Never Told” is an is an eleven track mixtape of all original material. Something completely different from what is coming out of the Chicagoland area. DSmith tells his stories with great lyrical content as well as making catchy singles and delivering powerful messages wrapped up in project that carries you from intro to outro effortlessly.
The project features production from; KOUNTDOWN, Chris Mecca, STA Beats, ProdbyHeartbeatz, VybeBeats, Omito, B. Scott & EOGANIS. With features from; Gentry, Simon Phoenix & Karmen Witha K.

Eazi Nakarmura popularly known as Mr Eazi found his perfect corner and he’s staying there. He understands the game, whether it’s him or his team it’s pretty awesome to witness.
You probably might not remember when Pipi Dance came along and it was an anthem in Ghana,it didn’t really cut it in the nigerian market;skin tight came along and changed Eazi’s footstep.
The song created the path which he followed, more deals, collaboration, and a sold out concert which I did witness.I Was Amazed by the Crowd’s turn out for a man without an album yet, amazing stuff.
A regular African artiste next motive is to drop an album, he dropped a mixtape. Accra To Lagos” Vol 1″; it’s more like a prologue to what’s coming in the future. The 14 track Ep will temporarily quench the thirst for his debut and gain more fan base for eazi,win win for him.
Pro’Meth releases new mistape titled Phase II MIxtape accompanied with 2 videos off the mixtape.
In his own words;
“With the success of the #Lostverses series on social media, notably the creative video remix of Wizkid’s Daddy yo (which I still don’t understand the sorcery behind), Pro’Meth is set to drop a Mix-tape album titled Phase II on the 25th!
“During my University of Abuja days, I lived in an area called Phase II. A kinda quiet place with unpredictable and extremely dramatic people. This helped shape my sound so I named the tape after it.” – Pro’Meth
