TIME Studios and Roc Nation are working on a documentary about the Houston Hottie, which will feature “rare archival footage and fresh verité video” that spotlights her Texas upbringing, rise to fame and important milestones in her career that led her to the success she has now. “Millions of people are familiar with [Megan] as an entertainer, but this series will give her a chance to share her truth as never before. Her story is a powerful one, and the accomplishments that she continues to achieve are remarkable,” Loren Hammonds, TIME Studios’ co-head of documentary, said in a statement.
The music video, which dropped today (June 3), was directed by John Miserendino and Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader. In it, we see the rapper dancing against a deep black background, sporting various Mugler pieces.
