For some time, the Ada Jesus, Prophet Odumeje & Rita Edochie story has been in the controversy mill churning all forms of stories. With the sad passing of the comedienne Ada Jesus, many begin to wonder about the whole situation.
Ada Jesus was reported to have died from severe kidney disease; her death was confirmed today by one of her caretakers in the hospital.
The comedienne, whose real name is Mercy Cynthia Ginikanwa, died of kidney failure at an Abuja hospital where she had been receiving treatment.

Controversial pastor, Chukwuemeka Odumeje, founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha was accused by Ada Jesus of performing fake miracles. His accomplice was Rita Edochie, a nollywood actress.
After these allegations, Ada Jesus’ family took her before Odumeje for deliverance but it was reported that the cleric and Rita Edochie rejected her. Instead, they laid curses and abuses on her.
The prophet refused to pray for the sick Ada Jesus, vowing that her generations will suffer for the āinsultsā and āliesā.
Odumeje however forgave her eventually and offered the sum of one million naira to support her medical care.
Ada Jesus’ family refused the money but wanted Prophet Odumeje’s forgiveness.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
Ada Jesus said sheās been sick for almost 12 years.
She gets blood transfusion every month and asked her family never to tell her husband b/c she doesnāt trust him. She knows she doesnāt āhave long life to liveā ššthat the sickness came by itself..1/
