PSG are owing their players 20 million Euros in bonuses from last season.
The crisis is also hitting a financial giant in PSG hard. The French press reports that the squad still owe 20 million euros in bonuses from last season.
Last term saw PSG finish runners up in the Champions League, their best run in the competition to date. That undoubtedly boosted greatly the club’s finances.
But, according to ‘L’Equipe’, it was not enough to get pay all the money they owe to the squad players. The French paper reports that the club still owe their players 20 million euros as a result of bonuses from last season.
The French newsppaer says the footballers have been asking to be paid these bonuses for some time and have yet to receive an answer from the board.
It is surprising news considering the fact there are rumours the French side are looking to sign players who demand a multi-million euro contract like Ramos and Messi.
French football is not going through its best moment because the financial crisis as a result of the pandemic has been highlighted by the collapse of the new television deal with Mediapro.
