It’s not just Bayern LB, David Alaba, that would be one of Real Madrid’s targets for their defence. According to ‘Sport’, Dayot Upamecano, RB Leipzig CB, is still reportedly in Madrid’s sights for 2021-22.
Dayot Upamecano has caught the attention of all the big teams in Europe. Clubs such as Liverpool and United would be delighted to have him.
In Spain, Real Madrid have also been linked as a possible destination for the RB Leipzig defender. According to ‘Sport’ that interest still exists.
From next summer, Upamecano’s clause will be 40 million. The idea of his club, according to ‘Bild’, is to give him an exit and thus be able to make money from his departure.
RB Leipzig are aware of the talent they have in their ranks. Everyone wants him in Europe and it seems like he could be one of the big names of the next few windows.
And what does Upamecano say about it? The English press affirmed at the time that, out of all his suitors, the one that the defender likes most is Manchester United, club that was already interested in signing him when he was just 16.
