Camavinga is not ready yet ready to join Real Madrid Just Yet.
Real Madrid want to get Camavinga in the not too distant future, but the player is thinking about renew at Rennes for another year. That would delay his move to the Bernabeu.
Camavinga has been linked with a move away from Rennes for months after a great season last term.
The player was especially linked with Real Madrid, but it does not look like he will be going to the club just yet.
His performances have dropped a bit this term, but Rennes are not doubting the 18 year-old star’s quality.
‘L’Equipe’ reports that Camavinga is seriously thinking of talking to the Ligue 1 outfit to extend his contract by one year until 2023.
If he does that, getting the football to leave right now will be a little harder so Camavinga could wait another year before going to Real Madrid.
“Do I want to continue at Rennes?” We’ll see. We have not decided on a date to discuss about my future, I’m not in a hurry.
There’ll be negotiations to renew my contract. It would be a pleasure for me to continue. I’ve still got two years left on my contract and we’ve got enough time to talk about it,” he said last Wednesday.
