Teasing the song via twitter, the released clip for “Better” is less than 15 seconds long, but it’s enough to get a sense of the soothing R&B melody Zayn is teasing.
The news follows shortly after Zayn teased new music on his Instagram earlier this month. The 27-year-old shared a polaroid photo of himself with the caption: “Got some stuff to show ya soon!”
The “Pillow Talk” singer is also expecting his first child with girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
Malik’s sophomore solo album Icarus Falls dropped back in Dec. 2018, but the singer has kept a pretty low profile since, appearing on a remix of Shaed’s “Trampoline,” “Rumors” with Sabrina Claudio, the R3hab song “Flames” and the reboot of “A Whole New World” with Zhavia Ward in 2019.
