Here is They. – STCU (download) Ft. Juicy J. The song released with Mp3 streaming [320kbps]. The new track is the latest record from the music acts.
Anchored by THEY. producer Dante Jones’ hypnotic sound bed, vocalist Drew Love belts his harmonious threats, while Juicy J makes his aptly-fitting cameo with a turned up verse.
“Tore the club up, then I shot your club up,” Juicy J rapped. “I might love her, I ain’t use no rubber/She said ‘Don’t worry ’bout that shit you know I’m safe’/I say ‘Don’t matter anyway, bitch. It’s too late.'”
Vocalist Drew Love said of the track: “Juicy is a legend and it was a true honour to work with him. He even added a few of his signature touches to the production to give the song that much more energy.
“We grew up fans of that OG southern hip-hop, artists like UGK, 8Ball & MJG and Three Six Mafia, and always wanted to experiment with that sound from a R&B perspective.”
Next month, THEY. will be releasing their sophomore LP The Amanda Tape, which is expected to feature the previously released singles “Count Me In,” “All Mine,” and the Tinashe-assisted “Play Fight.”
The Amanda Tape will be THEY.’s first release under their new partnership with Avant Garden and Island Records. The project will also follow last year’s Fireside EP, which saw six cuts and appearances from Jessie Reyez, Jeremih, Vic Mensa, Ty Dolla $ign, Gallant, and more.
