Atletico Madrid Have Signed Carrasco For Four Seasons.
Atletico Madrid announced this Tuesday the purchase of Yannick Fereyra Carrasco. The footballer has committed himself to the club for the next four seasons.
Carrasco is now officially an Atletico Madrid player again. The Belgian winger will stay at the Madrid based club for the next four seasons.
“Atletico Madrid and Dalian Professional FC have reached an agreement for the signing of Yannick Carrasco.
The Belgian international has signed his new contract for the next four seasons and he will continuing forming part of the Atletico family after playing the second half of last season on loan,” the club announced.
Carrasco will therefore continue his second spell at Atletico Madrid. The Belgian had hardly been able to shine due to the COVID-19 stoppage.
The winger “ended up being an important player at the back end of last season helping the team reach the objective of third place in La Liga and a Champions League spot,” the club wrote.
Carrasco made 16 appearances during the 2019-20 season. He scored one goal and gave four assists.
The Belgian footballer returned from the Belgium squad earlier than planned and he joined Atletico Madrid for the start of the season. Atletico will kick off their campaign on matchday three.
