Chelsea Want To Sign Edouard Mendy.

The ‘Daily Mail’ told of part of Chelsea’s plans for their goals. With Kepa benched long ago, Edouard Mendy is presenting himself more and more as a solid alternative to be Frank Lampard’s starting keeper.

The ‘Daily Mail’ revealed a negotiation between the clubs that would now forge into a 20 million offer to bring the player to replace the controversial Kepa.

According to the newspaper, the offer is 20 million euros. They also underline that it wouldn’t be the first, as there was a previous one of 17.

That new offer doesn’t improve the sum substantially, although they make two things very clear: that replacing Kepa is one of the obsessions and that the Frenchman is the one that is liked most, despite there being other names on the radar.

The news also speaks about the Basque keeper reportedly being closer to returning to Spanish football.
