Here is Lupe Fiasco x Kaelin Ellis – SHOES ft Virgil Abloh (download). The song has just been released with Mp3 streaming [320kbps]. The new track is the latest record from the music acts.
The powerful, bass-heavy track finds not only Lupe rapping from the perspective of an eager sneakerhead but designer Virgil Abloh describing the process of “hypothetically designing the shoes that Ahmaud Arbery was wearing when he was murdered,” according to a statement about the release.
The project came together via Twitter, where Lupe Fiasco was tagged in a video of Ellis making music. After taking notice, Lupe ended up sharing his own video of himself freestyling over the production. Eventually, the pair connected and began creating what would ultimately become the forthcoming 5-song EP.
