Avicii’s posthumous single, Tough Love featuring Agnes & Vargas & Lagola has arrived. Made available for download and stream, Avicii’s latest record is his most recent since the singer passed away. The song “Tough Love” was about 80 percent complete.
He left notes for the vocalists, suggesting that it should be a duet, preferably between a real couple. Pontare enlisted his wife Agnes to sing the song with him, and today, fans can hear the final result.
“Tough Love” is a summery, catchy dance-pop tune, the second single from forthcoming posthumous album Tim. It’s out now on Universal Music. “Tough Love” co-producers previously worked with Avicii, born Tim Bergling, on hits “Hey Brother,” “Sillhouettes” and “Without You.” Before Bergling died, he was exploring sounds from north India, and he shared with the duo a musical loop one day inspired by these traditional styles.
