UNKLE – The Road: Part II/Lost Highway (Album Download)
UNKLE shares a new album titled The Road Part II (Lost Highway). Available for download and streaming on your favorite platforms, UNKLE’s latest music project is infact loaded with 20 tracks.
Speaking about the release, Lavelle said it was inspired by his recent stint on London’s Soho Radio.
“I started doing a show on Soho Radio in 2018, which made me think about playing records in a different way,” he explains in a press release. “It wasn’t about trying to make people dance in a nightclub. It was a breath of fresh air, and about playing a more eclectic mix.
“‘The Road: Part II’ was made in the same way – it’s a mixtape and a journey. You’re in your car, starting in the day and driving into the night. The language of it was to be the ultimate road trip.”
The new album features a plethora of guest appearances – including Queen of The Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore, Mick Jones of The Clash, Editors’ Tom Smith, and Mark Lanegan.
