Anderson .Paak – Ventura (Album download)
Anderson .Paak comes through with a new album titled Ventura. Available for download and streaming, Ventura arrives after Paak’s album Oxnard, which was released only a few months ago. The non-album single “Bubblin” recently took home a Grammy for Best Rap Performance.
Growing up in Oxnard gave me the grit and the church to find this voice of mine. One town over I went further and found my depth. The duality of each place inspired me greatly and from that I made two albums at the exact same time but held one back because that would have been too many songs to perform live for you all! I like ending things on an even number so welcome to ‘Ventura'”
The new release will come with a North American tour called the “Best Teef In The Game Tour.”
Thundercat will join Paak on all of the shows, while other shows will include performers like Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Thundercat, Mac DeMarco, and Jessie Reyez. See the flyer below. General public tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 5 at 10am. Paak’s summer tour dates will follow his ongoing, previously announced tour.
The Best Teef in the Game Tour kicks off in Nashville on May 17. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting on March 8 at 10 a.m. local venue time over on the Live Nation website. Thundercat, Earl Sweatshirt, The Free Nationals, NoName, Mac DeMarco and the emerging Jessie Reyez will all perform at various points as supporting acts to bolster the upcoming North American trek.
