Tekashi 6ix9ine has Plead “Not Guilty” In Federal Case with New Trial Date set.
Tekashi 6ix9ine is back in the news and has found himself in more rough times. Arrested on a series of federal charges, including racketeering and firearm charges; while details surrounding the case itself are complex. Now, a new development has been reported courtesy of TMZ. It would appear that 6ix9ine has officially issued a plea of “Not Guilty,” and the judge has set a court date accordingly: September 4th, 2019.
Tekashi will be spending the duration of the wait behind bars. As of now, discourse surrounding bail has quieted down; lawyer Lance Lazarro has been crusading for the cause, but as of yet, to no avail. The feds seem to think 6ix9ine has been involved in some heavy activity, including personally participating in armed robbery. Lazarro, however, has claimed the rapper’s gangland persona is strictly in the name of building a persona.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s album Dummy Boy has been circulating around the internet. One has to wonder if his team will hold fast to the embargo, or simply release the project as planned; might as well start building up the rapper’s streaming numbers.
