Lil Durk pays homage to his hometown of Chicago in his new video for “Hometown Hero.” The music video was shot by Flynn Drew and directed by Nem Perez who put a spotlight on the everyday people in Chicago who are trying to make a positive change in the city whether it be high school football coaches to the DJ’s in Chicago.
Lil Durk has been teasing the release of his forthcoming project, Signed To The Streets 3 for a while now. After departing from Def Jam and penning a new deal with Alamo Records, the rapper began to gear up for the release of the project. Over the past few months, he’s been releasing new singles off of the project including “Spin The Block” with Future and “Downfall” with Lil Baby and Young Dolph. Last week, he came through with his single, “Neighborhood Hero” and now, he’s released the song’s official visuals.
Durk’s new album is set to drop this Friday. Aside from Future, Lil Baby and Young Dolph, Durk tapped a slew of dope talent, including emerging acts, for the STTS3 tracklist such as Lil Skies, Gunna, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kevin Gates, Kodak Black and more.
