Nigerian poet and award winning author, Dike Chukwumerije, narrate how he escaped being hit by a stray bullet.
According to Dike Chukwumerije, he was standing beside his car parked in front of his house when something fell from the sky and shattered his windscreen. According to him, upon checking what caused the crack on the windscreen, he noticed it was a stray bullet that missed him.
Read what he wrote below;
Today, my car was struck by a stray bullet. It was parked in front of my house, and I was standing beside it, when something fell out of the sky and punched a hole through the windscreen. At first, I thought someone had thrown a stone or something over the fence. But what I found on my bonnet, amidst the shattered glass, was a spent bullet. Is this how it happens?
According to Zoro who described the incident as the most terrible day of his life, said the Rivers State SARS operatives shot at them continuously even when they alighted from the vehicle. He identified the officers as Mr Wachukwu and Mr. Mike, and also apologized to his fans who turned up for the Beat FM Port Harcourt Pool Party.
He wrote;
