Ex-beauty queen, Omowunmi Akinnifesi advices not to marry for Naira and kobo.
Ex-beauty queen, Omowunmi Akinnifesi, in an Instagram video she shared, penned down a post to prospective Nigerian brides who might be marrying for Naira and Kobo.
Omowunmi Akinnifesi who advised ladies to marry men that can lead them mentally and spiritually, wrote;
The greatest decision you will make in your life is who you marry. Don’t marry for naira and kobo, don’t marry a Fool. Marry a man that can lead you spiritually and mentally. Even if he is not there yet spiritually at least he has the fear and love for God (pls not those fake ones that will say “i am spiritual”). By their fruit you shall know them.
.
Let him believe in you and your purpose. Don’t be where the man is telling you “you have no value😲” or he simply ignores your dreams when you talk about them. In those cases you know that after you marry its all about him and his work while all your dreams simply die.
.
The blible says 2 shall get double for their work. Not one person when they become 2 will get value for his work. Shishh. Don’t marry a FOOL. Marry someone who celebrates you, who wants to see you do well. Yes he may fake it but you knowww. Be wise ladies
This post is coming few months after the beauty Queen advised ladies not to be in a haste to get married; adding that being single is a blessing that should not be taken for granted. Omowunmi, who is single at the moment is of the opinion that the period of singleness is when women learn how best to serve their household when they eventually start a family.
In her words, “Being single is the time you use in getting yourself ready to serve your household.
Do not take it for granted, ladies. Being single is a blessing. I feel ready to serve my king daily and I can’t wait. Be still in your singleness.
You cannot become who God wants you to be without disruption. Someone is going to speak evil against you.
Someone will try to destroy you. You will be controversial while walking with God.
He is teaching you the importance of vision, teaching you to build that proverbs 31 woman” She said.
