Meek Mill releases Legends Of The Summer EP. The rapper who is still fighting his case in court continues to keep his teeming music fans entertained with new music and is back with a fresh EP.
Meek Mill’s Miguel-assisted “Stay Woke,” was his first new song since he was released in April 2018.
Meek’s latest prison stint was seen by many as an obvious miscarriage of justice, rallying everyone from JAY-Z to Pennsylvania’s governor to voice their support. The Philadelphia Eagles took the field at the Super Bowl to his “Dreams and Nightmares” intro, and won. On his first day after getting out, he attended a Philadelphia 76ers playoff game. Meek knows these luxuries aren’t afforded to everyday defendants that aren’t celebrity rappers. And so, with the world watching his next move, he wants to speak on their behalf.
The 4-song effort boasts features from Swizz Beatz, PnB Rock, Jeremih and Miguel. Meanwhile, production is handled by the likes of Hitmaka, Jahlil Beats, Mike DZL & Prince Chrishan, among others.
