Kiss Daniel changes stage name to ‘Kizz’ Daniel
Nigerian singer Kiss Daniel has had an ongoing battle to set himself apart from his record label G-Worldwide and has had to start his own record label Flyboi Inc and change his stage name a couple of times.
The Emperor Geezy owned music imprint has issued legal order restraining Kiss Daniel from using his stage name. According to G-Worldwide ‘Kiss Daniel’ had been trademarked by the label which prevents the singer from performing with the name.
Apparently, even though Kiss Daniel may have won the legal battle with his former label, he won’t be able to perform under the moniker as he lost the trademark right.
In a less dramatic way, the “Woju” crooner has switched it from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel. The adjustment is merely changing the double s to a double z. The singer who now goes by the name Kizz Daniel has made same changes to his social media accounts.
However, no official word about the name change from Kizz Daniel’s camp has been heard.
