Instagram comedian Ebiye has apologized after he was severely criticised for saying alternate singer Aramide screwed her way to get her recent Headies Award win.
During the 12th Headies Awards which took place 5th May, Aramide copped an award for “Best Alternate Song“. Aramide’s song “Fun Mi Lowo Mi” won in the category with competition from Adekunle Gold, Reminisce, Mavin Records Johnny Drille.
Comedian Ebiye reacted to Aramide’s win saying “She can’t believe it, lol she prolly fucked for the award, #Headies“.
After his inappropriate joke received a lot of backlash from the public, Ebiye took the the high road and immediately apologized.
