Lady Gaga releases a brand new video Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Going). Lady Gaga released her fifth album Joanne in October 2016—which would later go platinum roughly a year later.

On Wednesday, the pop star teased an upcoming music video for the piano version of her single titled Joanne. The album—with a 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album—is named in honor of her late aunt who died of Lupus in 1974.

‘The Lupus Research Alliance is receiving a donation in honor of Joanne Stefani Germanotta. Please consider a donation to this tremendous organization,’ Gaga tweeted on Wednesday afternoon alongside the video clip.

Joanne was only 19-years-old when she passed away—nearly 12 years before Lady Gaga was even born.

Her aunt’s unpublished poetry has lived on to inspire her work as an artist. Gaga even credits her deceased relative for helping her overcome her drug addiction early on in her career.

‘I never met her, but she’s been one of the most important figures in my life,’ she said back in 2011.

In the brief video clip, the hit-maker could be seen donning several outfits.

One scene called for an all-black ensemble as she walked down the train tracks with her guitar case and a cowboy hat on her head.

She wore two dresses in the video, one of which was a flowing pink chiffon gown that allowed the singer to dance around in circles as the sun set in the distance.
