With the release of her new single “Deadwood” and new solo album coming up, award winning singer/songwriter Toni Braxton releases a surprise remix pack for the brand new song “Coping.”
Going after international dance floors, the R&B icon recruits a crew of different producers and DJs for 5 different versions including Eden Prince, Paris & Simo, Stadiumx, Disco Killerz and Tom Swoon.
“Believe me I’m trying to let you go / But I need you to know that it’s difficult / And it hurts, really hurts / And I’m still coping,” she sings over the various EDM tracks.
Toni Braxton’s new album Sex & Cigarettes, the follow-up to 2010’s Pulse, is due out early next year.
Announcing the album during an interview with The Insider, Braxton explained: “I’m excited to be doing what I love doing,” she said. “The new album comes out at the top of the year and it’s called Sex & Cigarettes. I feel like I’m older, I want to say what I feel, I don’t want to be censored.”
Last Sunday (Nov. 5), Toni received the coveted Legend Award at the 2017 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. The songstress took the stage to a standing ovation and performed a medley of her classic hits. The annual award show will air on BET and BET Her on Sunday, November 26 at 8:00pm ET.
