When asked about new rappers like Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty, Lil Wayne told the NY Times that he wasn’t aware of any of the names listed. Kodak took offence to this and publicly said that he wanted to fight Wayne for his “Best Rapper Alive” title.
That was earlier this year. Not too long ago in September, he apologised for the comments and said that he was just drunk when he originally made them.
Throughout all of those months, there was no real respone from Wayne but it seems that he might have accepted the apology. At a show last night, Kodak Black played a snippet of a new song which features Weezy.
