Dvsn will be releasing their new album on October 13 and the OVO music duo of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 decided to whet our appetite with more music after their previous drops by releasing a brand new song tagged P.O.V.
The song is a reflection of the deep and personal connection the duo’s label OVO has with the city of Houston. The intimate play-by-play is colored with the purple sound of DJ Screw, Screwed Up Click, and The ChopStars, polished into an ultraviolet sex jam.
On a new song P.O.V, Dvsn persuades his lover on a sensual track that samples the Maxwell’s classic, “Fortunate”.
DVSN have been readying us the Morning After album. They have released “Mood,” and “Don’t Choose.” The album already boasts a cinematic (and visually stunning) album trailer, which you can check out here, if you haven’t already peeped it. As for the track itself, the production boasts some hard-hitting kick drums, low-end synth, and Burial-esque vocal effects. In some ways, the vibe is musically chaotic, and in others, grounded in the simplicity of Daley’s hypnotic vocals. By the time the subtle electric guitar comes in to close out the track, the journey has solidified itself as a beautifully produced affair.
