Smokepurpp – I Don’t Know You Ft Chief Keef & Yo Gotti

Smokepurrp teamed up with Yo Gotti and Keef on the opening track from the former’s debut album DEADSTAR. The abrasive track finds the overlap between their two styles, while also making room for Yo Gotti, whose presence works due to his proximity to the early Memphis rap that’s also informed Purpp’s sound.

Chief Keef’s influence on the new generation of rappers is undeniable. While it at first seemed as if Sosa ay not get the credit he deserved with birthing a whole new style, his students are showing him love in the way of collaboration. We saw Carti and Keef together on The Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, Uzi and Keef working together in a few Instagram snippets.
