Are you ready for the Boomiverse?
Well Big Boi just dropped the second single off his upcoming album, the Adam Levine assisted “Mic Jack.” The track is heavy on the eighties vibe, with a futuristic beat laced by the powerhouse combination of DJ Dahi & DJ Khalil. This one picks up where 2010’s “Shutterbug” left off – a respectable hip-hop banger with pop sensibilities. With a huge chorus from Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, “Mic Jack” seems poised to dominate the radios come summertime. If this and “Kill Jill” are any indication, Boomiverse is going to be a fantastic addition to Big Boi’s already stellar discography.
