Nigerian music diva Yemi Alade stuns with the official video of her wave making track, ‘Charliee’.
The Effyzzie Music singer who is currently on the USA leg of her Mama Africa World Tour, enlisted the services of regular Paul Gambit to create a rich visual spectacle for the Fliptyce produced banger.
“Charliee” serves as the lead single off Alade’s “Mama Afrique” extended play, which serves as a continuation of her acclaimed sophomore album “Mama Africa”.

Yemi Alade‘s “Mama Afrique”, an extension of her acclaimed sophomore L.P was released yesterday, the 30th of June 2017, just as she kicked off her Mama Africa World Tour.
The extended play is her third body of work following two successful studio albums; “King of Queens” and “Mama Africa: The Diary of an African Woman”. The set features Kenyan music star Nyashinski on the Swahili version of her soaring love ballad “Nakupenda”, a Ricii Lompeurs remix of her afro-house smash “Want You”, alongside new and revamped multilingual versions of numbers originally housed on the “Mama Africa” album.
The “Mama Afrique” E.P is available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, HMV. Deezer and other music stores and platforms; nonetheless the Swahili version of Nakupenda is available for free streaming/download.
Yemi Alade is still planning to release an extended play titled “Mama Afrique”; which will serve as a continuation of her acclaimed sophomore album “Mama Africa”: The Diary of an African Woman”.
The singer who is currently championing the African continent; took to her Instagram to share the track-list of the E.P, which will feature new versions of songs originally housed on the Mama Africa album and well as well numbers.
The set’s only guest act is Kenyan music star Nyashinski; the E.P expected to arrive before Miss Alade unlocks a new L.P.

Nigeria’s award winning singer Yemi Alade is set to release an E.P titled “Mama Afrique (The Extended Play)”, ahead of the arrival of her third studio album which is expected in 2017. The project is a continuation of her acclaimed sopH0more album, “Mama Africa (The Diary of an African Woman)”; and will house new songs, remixes and remakes of original songs on the Mama Africa album.
The diva will be releasing the extended play in the first quarter of 2017; and has released the first song off the project, which is the French version of her DJ Coublon produced smash hit “Ferrari”. The fan favourite was translated to French by celebrated singer and comedienne Chigul, while the new track which retains the original instrumentation with strings from Fiokee was with mixed and mastered by “Firewood” crooner Geniuzz.
