Check out the official video for 2 Chainz’ star-studded collaboration, “It’s A Vibe” featuring Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign & Jhené Aiko.
The Atlanta rap star kicks off the visual in a sexy lounge club where he enjoys the company of some beautiful woman and a live band. The next vibe brings forth Ty Dolla, who sings his portion in a strip club kind of setting. Meanwhile, Trigga plays an alluring passenger in a drop top convertible, kicking game to a model.
Jhené’s vibe is also quite dark, as she plays the role of this mysterious location’s boss. Counting money while getting her feet massaged, she sings about busting it wide.
“It’s a Vibe” is a single off 2 Chainz’ forthcoming album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Initially set for release this month, the album has been pushed back to an undetermined date.
R&B music’s sexiest stars stormed the annual spring festival to enjoy the good vibes.
While Kehlani and NAO were billed for the festival, others–like Rihanna–made surprise appearances, and some were there to attend the brand events, like Solange and Tinashe.
During her Sunday night set, Kehlani rocked a lose fitting white outfit that had ‘Find Our Girls’ written on her top, and ‘Solidarity’ down the leg of her pants.
Rihanna had social media in a craze over her shimmering full body suit with low cut Gucci tank top and jean shorts on Day 2, and she was seen turning up in the crowd to Kendrick Lamar’s set on Day 3.
The Weeknd, who came out to perform with XO producer-turned-artist NAV, spent some quality time with girlfriend Selena Gomez backstage. Singers like Sevyn Streeter, SZA, Christina Milian, Justine Skye and more all were in attendance as well to take in the performances and mingle during the events.
Buzzing teen singer-songwriter Khalid caught up with Solange and Kehlani, who also spent some time with Sevyn and SZA on Day 2. Jhené Aiko and her sister Mila J were also hanging around. Jhené posted a photo on Instagram that said her body was in Coachella but her heart is at the Lightning in a Bottle Festival, which is coming up on Memorial Day Weekend.
Following up on their previous release, The Chainsmokers team up with Jhene Aiko on this brand new hit titled “Wake Up Alone“.
It has the same feel that the Chainsmokers are known for, with a vocal sample doing part of the hook duties. “I don’t need cars, I don’t need clothes, forget that money ‘Cause if I go home all on my own, it ain’t worth nothing,” sings the L.A. based crooner on a mid tempo beat
The Chainsmokers. Chano is the first unsigned artist in history to achieve this milestone. He was joined on stage by frequent collaborator Peter Cottontale and his manager Pat.Chance was presented
2 Chainz drops a new track and features an R&B All-Stars for his smooth new offering “It’s A Vibe” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz and Jhene Aiko.
The melodic track follows the Gucci Mane and Quavo-assisted “Good Drank,” which recently received the remix treatment from a trap choir as heard on Chainz’ performance of the track on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “It’s a Vibe,” produced by Murda Beatz, will also live on Tity Boi’s forthcoming Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album.
6LACK has been buzzing heavily since his last release, Free 6lack, and the upwards trend is only continuing with his latest collaboration, a duet alongside Jhene Aiko. This isn’t even the biggest co-sign he’s received as a singer, The Weeknd has already given 6lack his seal of approval, enlisting him for the North American leg of his Starboy tour, as well as bringing him out for a surprise performance in LA. Despite being from ATL, he definitely has a TO-approved sound.
The joint record, “First F*ck,” is the perfect bedroom jam, with a slow-moving beat that finds 6lack drawling about spending a night with a ladyfriend, before Jhene chimes in with her perspective.
Soulful songstress Jhene Aiko unveiled the darkly sexual visuals for her provocative new song “Maniac.”
In the self-directed clip, Aiko gets tied to a hospital bed in an asylum styled set. As Jhené sings about being a “maniac” in bed, she is bound and gagged in wheelchair surrounded by faceless doctors. Later, the tables have turned, she’s free from her binds and is straddling a mannequin.
“There are so many layers to my personality. One of them is very sexual and ‘Maniac’ is me sharing that side of myself,” Aiko tells Rolling Stone. “When I started putting together the concept for the ‘Maniac’ visual, I wanted to explore what it meant to be manic.” To that end, the singer researched old asylums, watched movies on the topic and learned the “bizarre techniques that were used back in the day to treat mental patients.”
Jhené Aiko loves animals, and feeling confident in her own skin. Which makes her the perfect candidate to support PETA’s new “Drop the Fur” campaign.
The sexy songstress appears in the buff for PETA’s latest ad campaign, which was unveiled in Los Angeles on Monday at “Naked Ambition,” a retrospective exhibit of the group’s naked celebrity campaigns.
“Animals have feelings, they have souls, they have emotions, and the way that they are killed for fur is very inhumane,” says Aiko in an exclusive video interview. “They’re electrocuted, they’re beaten, they’re drowned, they’re skinned alive. And once you know that, it’s, like, how could you think wearing fur is cool? … [I]t’s not.”
Aiko previously starred in an animal adoption campaign for peta2, PETA’s youth division, and is part of a long list of celebrities—including Kid Ink, P!nk, Mýa, TLC’s Chilli, Kesha, Sia, and others—who’ve teamed up with PETA to promote kindness to animals.
Jhené Aiko surprised fans with the release of her brand new single, “Maniac,” but it’s raunchy lyrical content will shock you even more than her infamous ‘eat the booty’ line.
“Hop on a d*ck like a maniac / Head like a brainiac / Got to read the signs like a zodiac / I’m a low-key freak, you don’t know me, yet,” she raps from the outset.
The daring lines don’t end there, as she makes references to sex and later, marriage.
“Good head got a little bite to it,” she continues. “Little booty got a little bounce to it / We can go all damn night to it / Wife that, go on, throw rice to it.”
Although she rhymes to start the track, “Maniac” also includes some of Jhené’s trademark vocals, as she sings: “You just made love to a maniac. Do you want to f*ck with a maniac? Make you fall in love with a maniac.”
“Maniac” is likely the first single from Aiko’s forthcoming Souled Out follow-up. Jhené and her beau Big Sean are also planning a TWENTY88 sequel for 2017.
Big Sean and Jhené Aiko surprised many fans when they debuted their duo TWENTY88 this past March, are already plotting their sequel.
Over the weekend, Sean confirmed that he and Jhené are planning to drop a second TWENTY88 project in 2017. “The next @twenty88 album is coming next year,” he tweeted. “We gon get our solo’s off too though! #Dons #Soulmates #88”
The duo released their self-titled project on April 1, which included the songs “Selfish” and “On the Way.”
Wishing,” was already a fan favorite thanks to Chris Brown‘s singing on the catchy chorus, but now the song has received a full R&B remix, with some help from Fabolous. The song kicks off with Fab, who seduces his girl and tells her life would definitely be better if she’ll just “stop bein’ friendly to the f*ckboys.” Then enters Trey Songz who delivers the verse we expect to come from Trigga
The chorus gets a nice update as Trey and Chris harmonize over the beat telling a girl that they’ll have her “wishing” that they were her man. Jhené Aiko‘s verse is third and she gives us the only female perspective on the track.
This remix just might be your new favorite song. Check out the track below.
