A mother has been charged after allegedly giving marijuana and alcohol to two 14-year-old boys and engaging in sex acts with them.
Amalia Utz, 47, from Chicago, US, was arrested last week after police received an anonymous tip-off about a woman alleged to have assaulted a minor last September.

Interviews later uncovered a second alleged victim, also aged 14. The boys are thought to be friends of Utz’s son, who is currently enrolled at Medea Creek Middle School in the Oak Park district west of Chicago.

Officials from the Ventura County sheriff’s office said the allegations first emerged via the Report It service, an online tool that allows people to report concerns to school district officials anonymously.

The allegations reportedly concern mostly students from Oak Park High School, which is situated across the road from Utz’s apartment.
Police confirmed they had attended the apartment on several occasions in the past in response to reports of parties and drug-taking, local station CBSLA reported.
They also said they had found children, including runaways, at the property.

Neighbours said they had seen young boys coming and going from the apartment over a period of months.
CCTV footage from outside the complex showed groups of young people leaving the flat late at night.

An unidentified neighbour said: “The kids came over after school, maybe four to six, and there’s just like, too much activity over there.”

Utz has now been charged with with committing lewd acts with a child and oral copulation with a minor under the age of 16.
