H.E.R. returns with her new song titled Racks which features rapper YBN Cordae. The song is mostly about cash, gifts and more, with the singer telling us that she can comfortably spend a hundred bands because she’ll make it back in no time.
Zane Lowe premiered some new music from the R&B songstress as his World Record on Beats 1 Radio, showcasing “Racks” with a feature from YBN Cordae. The song is smooth, featuring a solid verse from the rising Maryland spitter and navigating more into the braggadocios category for H.E.R.
Earlier this year, H.E.R. won the Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album (H.E.R.) and Best R&B Performance (“Focus”). She also received nominations for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best R&B Song. H.E.R. last released her I Used to Know Her: Part 2 EP in November 2018.
YBN Cordae recently shared a Chance the Rapper collaboration called “Bad Idea.” He was named to this year’s XXL Freshman Class earlier this month.
