Eli Sostre returns with a new single called “Cribbo.” A smooth production base is the backbone for his longing lyrics that speak of a time when he and his girl thought they had something real. There’s a little bit of a similar vibe to that of The Weeknd, blending melancholic trap beats over a crooning vocal delivery, but Sostre continues to carve out a niche all his own.
After dropping “Drama” back in September, which was another track fueled by his romantic angst, Sostre has begun to solidify his style and grow his fan base as a result. In the caption for this new offering, he says that this will have to hold us over until next year. Whatever he comes through with next will be, at the very least, intriguing to hear.
