The annual Forbes listing of highest paid women in music is out, and the controversial Taylor Swift tops the list by a long mile. Swift, who’s had a feud with Kayne West earlier this year, racked up a whopping sum of $170m, and is a good $90m above Adele who comes in at number 2.
Her earnings are mainly due to her 1989 World Tour raking in a quarter of a billion dollars in revenue along with lucrative endorsement deals with brands such as Diet Coke, Apple and more.
Everyone’s favorite Queen, Beyonce comes in at #5 with $54m and shockingly is below Rihanna who raked in $75m to hit up the number 4 spot. Unlike last year that featured Nikki Minaj in the top 10, this year no hip-hop artist made it in the list.
