Singer Christina Perri revealed today that her newborn daughter has sadly passed away.
Perri shared a beautiful photo of her holding hands with her daughter who she says was heartbreakingly “born silent.”
Perri and husband Paul Costabile shared the following post on Instagram:
“Last night we lost our baby girl. she was born silent after fighting so hard to make it to our world. she is at peace now and will live forever in our hearts.”
The couple, who share two-year-old daughter Carmella, have had difficulties along their fertility journey in the past having already suffered a miscarriage earlier this year.
Thousands of friends and fans have since left messages of condolences on the couple’s post. Our thoughts are with Christina, Paul and Carmella at this very difficult time.
