Pop music Taylor Swift has kept the beef in kitchen cooking one more time with her newest song “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things”. On the song Taylor goes at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
On the song Taylor sings, “It was so nice being friends again/There I was, giving you a second chance/But then you stabbed in the back while shaking my hand/And therein lies the issue/Friends don’t try to trick you/Get you on the phone and mind-twist you/And so I took an axe to a mended fence.”
This could be in response to the instance between Kanye and Swift where he called her and requested her approval for his song ‘Famous’ only to later have things go left after Swift said she never approved the line, “cause I made that bitch famous.” This later resulted in Kim leaking the phone call with Kanye and Swift talking, where she did approve Kanye rapping, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”
Swift even clowns Kanye for Jay Z cutting him off and not being his friend anymore with the lyrics like “but I’m not the only friend you’ve lost lately/If only you weren’t so shady.”
