Nigerian and African music continues to cross the African borders musically as Olamide’s album ‘The Glory’ debuts on Billboard world albums chart.
The ‘PepperDem’ crooner is the third Nigerian artiste to hit the Billboard within the past one week. Olamide joins fellow colleagues Runtown and Wizkid who made appearances on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks with their respective singles ‘Mad Over You’ and ‘Daddy Yo’.
Olamide’s sixth studio album “The Glory” debuts at number six spot for the first week of 2017 on the Billboard World Album Charts.
Currently, he has dropped to number 14 on the chart in the second week of January 2017.
‘The Glory’ album is Olamide’s sixth consecutive album release since 2012. The album is a good material with Afro hip-hop tunes consisting of 17 tracks.
