The first half was beyond appalling, but that second half delivered. Magnificent entertainment. United are suddenly second in the Premier League table. And it looks like they’ve bagged quite the new star in Anthony Martial. What a goal! What an introduction to the Premier League! They’ll be feeling good about themselves tonight, the pressure off Louis van Gaal for now. It’s still beating down on Liverpool, though, who – one moment of genius from Benteke apart – were awful.
