Messi is yet to negotiate with Barcelona.
Leo Messi still hasn’t sat down to negotiate with Barcelona and the rumours will continue to swirl until the player makes a decision.
For now, Robert Pirès sees him at PSG or City, clubs in which, according to the ex-player, Messi would adapt quickly.
The exit of Leo Messi from Barcelona is a topic that no one wants to speak about in the city. The Argentine would leave a big gap at the club because of everything he generates, as well as his millionaire contract.
The latest revelations from ‘El Mundo’ have complicated the Argentine’s situation more, who has been pleased and proud of the reaction of the club and his own teammates. Everyone closes ranks and supports the captain.
But until he makes a decision, it will be inevitable that the rumours don’t stop. In a conversation with ‘TyC Sports’, ex-France player Robert Pirès has opined about the possible destinations of Leo Messi.
“He is a wonderful player and I’m sure he will be able to adapt to PSG. If you are lucky enough to be able to play in France, England or Italy, you have to try,” he said, although in order to join the Parisian club he would have to accept a reduction in his salary and be able to live alongside Neymar and Mbappé.
Robert Pirès has practically taken it for granted that Messi will leave the Camp Nou in June: “He will be able to show his greatness somewhere other than Spain and I hope he continues to play for a long time. It doesn’t matter if he goes to PSG or Manchester City because he will adapt and do very well in any team”.
