Philippe Coutinho is back at Barcelona and joined in pre-season training with the first team on Friday.
The Brazilian has cut short his holiday after his loan spell with Bayern Munich ended and is now starting work under new manager Ronald Koeman.
It had been expected that Barcelona would try to sell Coutinho this summer, but a difficult transfer market and the change in managers may see the 28-year-old handed a second chance.
Sport are reporting on Friday that Coutinho is “eager” to try and impress Koeman and is feeling optimistic he can make an impact after winning the treble with Bayern.
