Google Offers Artist Who Called Them Out And Created JUNETEENTH Sketch A Job

Google is well known for changing the layout on their search page to honor what ever holiday is going on that said day. Well for Juneteenth it seems their design team had done nothinge. The 26 year old artist Davian Chester created a Juneteenth sketch for GOOGLE.

Davian created the artwork he called “Because of Them We Can”. Then posting it on instagram with the caption reading, “I feel it’s very important for us to know as much as we can about our ancestors. So I feel Juneteenth is already something that isn’t being spread across as much as it should be. I was planning on making an art piece for it anyway, but I noticed Google did not do anything at all. And for a large company like that to create doodles for literally everything under the sun and have nothing at all today, I thought it was odd.”

Thanks to social media blowing it up, Davian later reported that Google offered him a job! So congrats to him for taking a chance and now getting the chance of a lifetime to work for a company like google.
