24hrs returns with a brand new Wale-assisted single titled Boomerang.
24hrs has been working hard. The R&B singer just shared 3200 Lenox RD, his joint project with SlickLaflare, and has also been dropping some loose tracks.
After teaming up with Soulja Boy on “New Lay,” 24 has shared “Boomerang,” a new collaboration with Wale. The track finds the singer slipping into his signature, slippery smooth auto-tuned croons, always bringing a rap-influenced energy to his melodies.
Wale is a welcome guest in 24’s world, reminding us that he’s always a complimentary feature on R&B tracks. It’s unclear if the song is scheduled to appear on another upcoming project.
24 has previously announced 24 Dollaz, his upcoming collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, as well as 24 Hitz a similar project he made with Hit-Boy.
Neither project currently has a release date. In September, 24 released his 12AM In Atlanta mixtape, which was presented by DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz. Prior to that, he dropped The Night Shift EP.
As for Wale, he just remixed H.E.R.’s “Ever Kind Of Way,” once again wearing his R&B fandom proudly.
Listen to Boomerang below and cop the tune after the jump.
