ARIANA GRANDE ANNOUNCES MANCHESTER BENEFIT CONCERT WITH JUSTIN BIEBER, USHER, & PHARRELL

ARIANA GRANDE ANNOUNCES MANCHESTER BENEFIT CONCERT WITH JUSTIN BIEBER, USHER, & PHARRELL

A week after the terror attack that tragically took 22 lives and injured many more at her “Dangerous Woman World Tour” stop in Manchester, England, Ariana Grande has announced “One Love Manchester,” a star-studded benefit concert in honor of the victims and their families.

Featuring appearances from Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Usher, and Niall Horan, “One Love Manchester” is set to take place June 5 at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, which holds up to 50,000 people. The event will air on BBC TV, BBC Radio, Capital Radio Networks, and a soon-to-be-announced streaming partner, according to Billboard.

Fans who attended Grande’s Manchester concert, where the bombing took place, will receive complimentary tickets to the event. General admission tickets will go on sale Thursday (June 1) via Ticketmaster. All proceeds are set to go towards the victims and their families, as Grande promised last week.

“My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones,” she wrote. “There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way.”

After saying that she would not “operate in fear,” Ariana added: “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families. I want to thank my fellow musicians and friends for reaching out to be part of our expression of love for Manchester.”
