New Music: Blaqverse – I Didn’t Do It

Blaqverse – I Didn’t Do It

Blaqverse is an artist from the East Coast of South Africa born and bred in the city of East London which he affectionately calls IllCity. Blaqverse has been immersed in rap music for as long as he can remember and is able recently to add his eager voice in the game, Blaqverse has been a student of the game and is simply a product of the culture in it’s current tides.

Blaqverse has came in third at a national rap challenge in 2016, losing only to a voting system, in which the focus was on lyrics which depicts the nature in which he crafts his rhymes.
Blaqverse was also nominated as best newcomer in the Eastern Cape Music Awards (ECMAS) which helped raised his profile to greater heights.

He has been featured as a rising star in an interview with one of the biggest newspaper in the Eastern Cape the Daily Dispatch.
In 2016 and 2017 he has had his music featured on US based internet radio stations featuring a rapper from the USA.
Blaqverse is dedicated to his craft and has a mixtape out titled Voices From The Best that you should check out to attest to that.

Now the vocals on this piece were constructed on a different composition and the current production was crafted using only the vocals.

The content of the record is inspired from a real life situation. I’m being framed for committing a crime, a friend had borrowed my jacket during a night out and I ended up in a cell. They got witnesses attesting to this crime and the jacket as “crucial” evidence. Things are still panning out so pray for a nigger.
