Over the last few months, Lil Wayne has been desperately trying to get out of his deal with Cash Money, taking his own Young Money imprint with him. Whether he’s succeeded or not, it looks like Birdman is ready to let go of the iconic YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires) logo, now switching it out for CMRG (Cash Money Rich Gang).
Baby debuted the new acronym on his Instagram today, modelling a brand new sweatshirt/sweatpants combo.
There’s no question that Birdman was sending a message with the photo, but whether it was simply shade sent at Wayne or a declaration that Cash Money and Young Money are actually separating is unclear.
