TYuS is a singer from Portland, Oregun, who’s been able to build quite the presence on Soundcloud. He hasn’t blown up to the same extent as “Soundcloud rappers” such as XXXTENTACION, but he’s definitely benefited from the platform, and you’ll likely start seeing his name everywhere, soon. As he continues to rise up, he returns to one of the songs that first got him popping for a remix, “Between Us,” with a notable feature from 21 Savage.
21 has been keeping a relatively low profile since he officially blew up last summer with Savage Mode, offering fans a fair amount of features instead– this one should definitely satisfy his cult-like following, with menacing bars over the piano-laden, slow-moving beat. It’s an interesting, and effective, pairing.
The RIAA reports that Savage Mode has been officially certified gold. This marks yet another plaque for the duo, with the Future assisted cut “X” recently going double platinum. While the album may not be for everybody, Savage Mode has clearly found a loyal audience appreciative of Metro & Savage’s dark, spacey sound.
Last December, Young Thug previewed a snippet of a collaboration with 21 Savage. The next month, Thugger’s fiancée Jerrika Karlae hinted that Drake may be featured on the track as well. Various lo-fi versions of the song, titled “Issa,” have been swirling around the internet as of late; last night, a (relatively) high fidelity version was uploaded. 21 Savage recently teased a June 1st release date. Maybe that’s when he’s releasing “Issa.” is produced by Wheezy, TM88, Bricks, & Narcos.
In May, 21 Savage sent out a cryptic tweet teasing a release date of June 1, but didn’t reveal what he had coming.
While fans have spent the past few weeks speculating what 21 had up his sleeve, it turns out it’s a new single as the ATL rapper just released a new music video for a brand new song called “All The Smoke,” which is produced by Southside.
After Thugger posted a high-quality teaser of “Issa” on his Instagram, fans have been eagerly yearning for its release.
Yesterday evening, they got their wish; a high quality leak to the track has been unearthed. But while the teaser video only showed 21 and Thug on a private jet as the song played, Drake has now also jumped on the track – which obviously features all three artists rapping about 21 Savage’s now infamous coined phrase “Issa.”
Although this is a rip-quality leak, the track goes off, hard. Featuring production from two of hip-hop’s biggest producers in Narcos and Wheezy, the polished version of the song already seems to be a surefire summer heater.
Gucci Mane decides to team up with fellow ATLiens 21 Savage & Zaytoven for the new single “East Atlanta Day,” reportedly off the ATL producers upcoming debut album.
Celebrating the trap holiday, Guwop brings the title to life & reps the East side of Atlanta to the fullest, referencing Edgewood, Kirkwood & Plynwood in the process. Meanwhile, 21 spits that pure savagery and raps about the shootings & robberies that he’s done on the East side as well. It’s safe to say this shit gon’ have the streets on lock, especially in ATL.
Here is new music from Mike Will Made It titled Gucci On My.
Gucci is the only thing that matters on Mike Will Made’s new track featuring 21 Savage, YG and Migos. Mike’s Ransom 2 coming soon.
Employing teeth-rattling bass, the track formally arrives tonight at midnight (March 3rd) but can be heard below.
While he did not reveal the release date for Ransom 2, he hinted that it could arrive sometime in March (perhaps coincidentally, his birth day is March 23rd.
Drake finally gives the streets the collaboration they’ve been yearning for over the last few months. At the start of the weekend, Drizzy wished 21 Savage a happy birthday on his instagram page, which immediately started chatter whether or not new music would emerge. Well, the Boy grants fans their wishes, as he taps London on da Track for production on the new street cut, “Sneakin.”
While Drake touches on industry-related matters, including calling himself the GOAT, he touches on getting tired of music beefs and is ready to move into boss mode – letting his OVO Sound roster handle anyone that’s looking for a come up off name value. If you have a nice system in your ride, we’d recommend you wait until driving for this one at loud levels.
