The single follows up his previous release titled, 18, both of which are presumed to be on their upcoming album.
In “HONEST,” Jeremy describes a failing relationship between them and another person who used to be good to him. However, now that Jeremy is cast out and unhappy, he wants his lover to just be honest with them.
“‘HONEST’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written thus far,” says Zucker. “And I’m so excited to finally share it with everyone. It’s about someone I used to date who turned out to be a pathological liar. The realization that I was being lied to and manipulated by someone I sincerely trusted hit me like a brick wall.”
