Neymar has said he intends to stay at PSG.
Neymar’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain will end on 30th June 2022, but the Brazilian footballer will stay at the Parisian side barring a major surprise.
According to ‘TNT Sports’ via journalist Marcelo Bechler, the Brazilian footballer is very close to penning another big contract at the Parc des Princes.
The cited media outlet says that the contract extension could be confirmed at the end of this week. In other words, in the next few days.

Neymar will be at PSG for the next nearly three and a half years. In other words, until 30th June 2024. That would put an end to speculation on him returning to Barca and PSG’s financial difficulties.
On 31st January, Neymar told the programme ‘Sept a Huit’ on ‘TF1’ that he will stay at PSG with comments which were full of sincerity and seriousness.
“I want to stay at PSG and I hope Mbappe does too. That is what fans want. We want PSG to be a great team. And I want to keep on doing what I’ve always done in Paris, play football and be happy. That is the most important thing,” he said.
If he extends his contract and stays there until its conclusion, Neymar will be at the Ligue 1 champions until he is 33 and will have spent eight seasons at the club.
