The New York Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to the New York Post on Monday (January 25) that Charlie Balducci died of “acute intoxication” after taking various prescription drugs.
The examiners found oxycodone, hydrocodone and Alprazolam – the drug commonly known as Xanax – in Charlie‘s bloodstream. The True Life star was found at his Staten Island apartment and pronounced dead at the scene.
Charlie was known as “Charlie B” in his reality TV days, appearing on the MTV show True Life: I’m Getting Married.
The episode documents the days leading up to his wedding to wife Sabrina, who he had separated from at the time his death. He is survived by their children, Louis, 19, and CJ, 17.
