Coronation Street’s Sean Tully turns ruthless with Gemma Winter tonight after she tries to pull out of their selling scheme.
Sean (Antony Cotton) has got himself embroiled in a pyramid scheme and has spent the past few weeks putting pressure on Gemma to make sales after recruiting her to get involved.
In Friday’s hour-long episode, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) meets with her friend Vanessa, who has expressed interest in being part of the sales team.
When Vanessa reveals that she plans to use child maintenance money to invest in the scheme, Gemma’s good nature gets the better of her and she warns her not to.
Gemma comes clean about how the sales arrangement is a rip-off and Vanessa should steer well clear.
Later, Gemma shares the bad news with Sean that she didn’t bring Vanessa on board and wants to pull out herself.
Gemma also admits that she can’t afford to pay Sean his expected commission money, which leaves him worried.
Sean speaks to his own contact Rhydian and asks for leniency as Gemma is struggling to come up with the cash.
